Highland Haven Club House

The club house was a gas station & store when we acquired it in 1977 for $5,000. Check out this article about it & take a tour of the outside.
On the second floor, there were not any walls, just bunks and a small kitchen area. After a lot of hard work, we now have 21 bed rooms and 2 bathrooms and have accommodated over a hundred people at one time! Check out the room layout and pictures of the second floor .
Downstairs we have a commercial kitchen, social room, fire place lounge, dining area where just some of our many awards are displayed, kids play room and 3 more bath rooms. We also have a garage that can accommodate 16 snowmobiles and a 2 acre field for the kids to play in when they are not out on the trail.
Our club house requires a lot of maintenance and it would not everyone's help and especially without the leadership and countless hours of work that Harold "Hock" Hocanson puts in. Check out one of Jerry's articles about Hock.

In addition to the Club House, several other members own camps within walking distance of the club; The Highland Hilton, The Dog House; The Taj Ma Stahl & Wind Bags Camp. Several members also have cottages on the lake in Erie, PA; The Oar House, Some Place Nautical, & The Viking, The Sandcastle. |
