Happy New Year members! Everyone had a great time ringing in the New Year at the Clubhouse, beside the fact that we had no snow! But Mother Nature has made up for it since, and there is no reported end in sight!! Many of our members have taken advantage of the falling snow and have been riding our trails in the past few weekends. Let’s hope the snow stays until June!
There will be a group of members heading North to Old Forge, NY on Jan. 30th. Although it doesn’t seem to make too much sense to travel so far when we have this much snow right here at home. I’m sure if the trip is anywhere close to as entertaining as last years’ trip, nobody will complain!
The reason we have scheduled the February meeting for the second week of the month is due to the Old Forge trip. Many of our members, as well as most of the Board and Officers, will be on this trip.
Please welcome our newest Snowseeker family, Joe & Deb Ehrhart and daughter Victoria. The Ehrhart’s were officially voted in at the last meeting.
The Clubhouse phone listing has been changed into the name of PA Snowseekers. This was done in order to allow family members to obtain the number to the Clubhouse in case of emergencies.
For those of you who will be riding at Camp, our fuel tank has been filled. The price will be $1.75 per gallon for members and $2.00 per gallon for non-members. Don’t forget to fill out a receipt and pay for fuel with your lodging.
Jim Hart and family have requested and received room #4. Jim had the most seniority of the other members who also requested the room.
Dates to keep in mind: • Feb. 14th – Pymatuning Trailblazers will be guests at the Clubhouse. We will need as much help as we can get! • Feb. 21st – We will be holding a Poker Run to benefit Breast Cancer research. If anyone is able to help, contact Mark Mueller. No-snow date Feb. 28th.
Happy trails to you, Dave & Victoria |
