March 2003 NEWSLETTER NEXT GENERAL MEETING: April 3rd, 2003, 8:00 pm - Kaufman House NEXT BOARD MEETING: April 24th, 2003, 8:00 pm – Kaufman House OFFICERS: Pres. Jack Belsterling, V. Pres. Dave Klein, Treas. Joni Eastley, and Sec. Terri Everett. BOARD MEMBERS: Rich Hayes, Art Amsler, Mark Mueller, Dan Miller, and Mike McHugh. Attention Board Members: Please note the next Board Meeting is April 24th, not April 27th as published in last months’ news letter. Also, if you could, please come to the next general meeting 15 minutes early. There is one simple issue we need to discuss. The snow has finally disappeared and what a great season it was. Last month we set a record in lodging at the club house. If you weren’t there visit our web site for there are many pictures of eventful weekends. Thanks to all the members. Don’t forget the Trails Meeting at the club house on April 5th. The Snowseekers are once again hosting this event, and are serving breakfast. If you can help, please attend. This years P.S.S.A. Spring Meeting will be in Edinboro, PA on the weekend of April 25th. This will be a great way to meet new riders and reminisce with old friends. This promises to be a great show and display of the latest snowmobiles and accessories. Our annual St. Patrick’s weekend was once again a great time. Some members relaxed in the sun while others got one last ride in. Thanks to Rich & Loretta Hayes for organizing this years event. The food was very filling. Jon Stahl is trying to finalize the house committee proposed rules. He asked that if you have any suggestions please write them down and give them to a house committee chair person. If you have any questions, contact Jon Stahl at 440-256-8825. Let’s remember that this is a family oriented club therefore, please be cautious of adult language around others. Jim Hart is planning a work weekend soon. A finalized date will be posted in next months’ news letter. Please keep in mind when shutting down camp, to make sure ALL doors are CLOSED TIGHTLY and LOCKED. Take a few minutes and walk around the garage and make sure it is shut down properly. These few extra steps may take some time but, are necessary to secure the interest of all club members. On a lighter note…Last month Jim Wright tried to out run his heart but it caught up with him in a hospital bed in Butler County. He has made a full recovery and is recuperating somewhere in Florida. Would someone please tell Cathy to quit working him so hard? He is retired after all. (Ha Ha). Respectfully, Jack & Wendy |
